This national park inhabitants more than 50 mammal species, over 567 birds and 55 amphibians and reptiles. Purple Swamphen, Darter, Heron, Black Stork are some of the endangered bird species found in this region. Other commom birds found in the area are Lesser and Bengal Floricans, Peacock, Owls, Eagles, Babblers, Warblers, Cuckoos, Orioles, woodpeckers and Giant Hornbill. The most numerous birds come from Sylviidae family (60 species), Muscicapidae (55 species), Accipitridae (44 species), Corvidae (36 species) and Anatidae (25 species) respectively.
