The trek offers us a chance to be alive under the lap of Himalayas while enjoying mind-blowing views and scenes of the magnificent Himalayas at the same time. On the other side, there is Gokyo Valley, which offers even more heart-pleasuring views of blue lakes and mighty mountains. Combining both of them, you get an experience like no other. Come and join us in the trekking of Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lake to experience the thrilling and spectacular enjoyment that nothing else can give you.

Crossing nearly all the high valleys of the Khumbu region, we will set us ourselves to learn the Sherpa culture, enjoy the eye-catching views of the Himalayas, walk through easy and tough routes and if lucky, catch sightings of some of the rare species in t whole world.

We leave for Lukla, Everest Base camp with Gokyo Lake trek on the third day of your arrival here in Kathmandu. Then, from Lukla, we head to Namche Bazar via Phakding. We spend the fifth day in Namche Bazar, as a day of acclimatization and also explore the Namche on the same day. The next day, we leave for Dole, and then arrive to Gokyo on the eighth day of our trekking after having passed through Machhermo. We spend one day in Gokyo as an exploration day in Gokyo and at the same time, helping us for acclimatization. We then head to Lobuche via Thangna. On the way, we will also pass through Cho La Pass at 5400m. After Lobuche, we will visit Eveerst Base Camp and then also visit Kala Pathar. Then we will go to Periche, Tengboche Namche Bazzar and also Lukla to end our journey. We will have visited the Base Camp of the highest peak in the world, enjoyed the panoramic view of the mountains and then lived among the Sherpa culture and traditions too. After Lukla, we make our way back to Kathamandu and then we get back to our home country, having completed a challenging and life-changing trekking.

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be welcomed officially in Kathmandu and in Nepal formally by a representative of Noble Treks Nepal. You will then be escorted to a hotel for Check In. As per your wishes you will either be taken to a short visit to the City of Temples or stay in the hotel. However, this may not hamper the trekking preparation as we have to leave the very next day for Lukla. In the evening before dinner, you will meet with the guide of the tour and staffs. You can enjoy the excellent Nepali cuisine in an excellent Nepalese fashion afterwards.

Today is our exploration day in Kathmandu. As you roam around the places, don’t forget to buy the memorandum for yourself and your relatives. As Kathmandu is the city of temples, we can roam around the city and visit some of the imoirtant tourist destination around the city, namely Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Lalitpur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath and many more. All of them have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage site. So it will be quite an experience for you.

Early in the morning we have to leave for Lukla, a 35minutes long trip to follow. The scenic flight is also a experience that you will a rare experience for you to make. The guide will then introduce you with the porters and familiarize you with the surrounding. The trekking starts the very day, with 3-4 hours of walking from Lukla to Phakding, the route accompanied by forest and green landscape. From 1,300m to 2,652m you will start to feel the difference already between Kathmandu and Phakding.

After spending the day in Phakding, we head out for Namche Bazzar, the most popular market in the Himalayas. The trekking route is filled with Pine trees and also green landscapes. In the way we can see the DudhKoshi River and pass through various suspension bridges, one of which is the most famous Hillary Suspension bridge. We then leave behind us the gorgeous view of Mt.Thamserku and many settlements before reching to Namche Bazzar. We then get the first view of Mt.Everest after trekking for nearly 3hours. There is a Chautara-a place designed for resting, where we stay for a few moments to admire the view of Mt.Everest. But we still need to travel 2 hours to reach Namche Bazzar from there.

However, travelling without resting is not a good idea and our body still has to adjust into the climate of thin air. In Namche Bazzar, the roads are busy, with many people doing their day to day activities. It’s the place where there are many facilities, from government offices to ATM Machines, This is where a lot of tourists rest for some days before making their way to the Everest Base Camp or to Kathmandu if they are returning. The place is mostly inhibited by the Sherpas, so we can observe the Buddhist community and traditions of Nepal for a few days. The Sherpas are known all over the world for their good humored behavior, hospitality and welcoming manners and to be in their hospitality is a blessing thing. And our guide will tell you more about them.

After the rest day, our minds and bodies are fully fit to make a trip further, as we have already to the climate there. Dole is a small but majestic village in the area. Beginning the trek, we climb through the Khumjung hill and then descend to the east of the Namche Bazzar, which in turn leads to DudhKoshi River. After that we reach Khumbila-the place where the trial to Everest Base Camp and trial to Gokyo separate.

As we climb through Gyele on to Lhabarma at 4330, we have to walk on the banks of the large stream of Luza at 4340. From here the trial continues to climb upwards and it becomes steep. We can see an excellent view of both the valley as we look down and Mt Choyu as we set our eyes upards. Within a short time from there, we will be able to reach Machhamo which is our night stay place. Average rekking time is 4-5 hours.

From Machharmo, we move to Pangka after which we will pass Nilibuk which is a large cave. Today, like previous day we have a walk a comparitevly short time. We climb towards the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa flakier through an ablation valley formed by melting ice only agter descending towards the river bank. Today we also see three sacred lakes one of which is Dudh Pokhari. We then walk by the side of the lake with the glorious view of Choyu and Gyachung Kang reflected on the lake. By that time, we will have reached 4800m.

Today is the rest day of our trip, where we will stay in Gokyo and admire the views and sceneries all around us. This day will help us in acclimating and re-strengthen of our body. At the same time, we will also explore around the valley ad lake area.

Today’s trek will be of nearly 5 hours. We will trek mostly downwards, as we descend from 4,790m to 4,500m. This trek will take us one step further to the Everest Base Camp. Overnight at Thangna. Because Thangna is very remote, the accommodation facility here will be very basic and thus we will have to adjust ourselves a little.

Today’s climb is steep but that is very easy to climb. Cho La Pass is one the 3 high passes of the everest region. . The Chola Lake begins to appear slowly and the Ama Dablam in its pyramidal incarnation presides over a range of mountains on the south as Cholatse soars on the west. Upon reaching the top, we see prayer flags, strung across cairns, flapping in the strong wind. Scenery of majestic peaks in all directions is breathtaking. In a while we will reach Dzongla, where we will spend the rest of the night.

Today’s trekking is relatively of shorter time. E will climb down to cross a bridge. In the way, we will also have many places which will offer us views of mountains around us, that are just fantastic. As the trek is only of about 3 hours, we can spend the rest of the day exploreing around Dzongla.

Today, we reach our final destination which Everest Base Camp. From Lobuche the ascend to Gorak Shep becomes steeper and rougher than before as we also have to cross various moraines.// We trial to see peaks all around us, a 360 degrees of snowy mountains. We reach Ghorak Shep by lunchtime and trek to Base Camp in the afternoon. After reaching the Everest Base Camp, we can enjoy ourselves for a few moments, admire the view and the mountain climbers who have taken a daunting task of conquering the highest peak in the world.

In the morning, we go to Kala Patthar for a sole objective of watching sunrise. As the sun rises and the golden rays strike the mountains, we find peace in our hearts and make for ourselves a memory that can never be overlooked. At the height of 5545m, we can see one of most astonishing views on the earth, a 360-degrees panorama of Himalayan giants from Pumori and Lobuche to Nuptse, and from Lhote to Everest. This is also the climax of our trip. We return back to Ghorak Shep for lunch. Now even though we want to stay there for longer, we have to leave the place. We shall descend to Pheriche(4280m), a place on the way back to Lukla. After having walked for nearly 8-9 hours in the day, this is where we spend the rest of the night.

At this trekking, we will again see the rhododendron and juniper trees which we left earlier in our trekking. After crossing the DudhKoshi River, the trial is a quick drop away of the pine trees too. By the time we return, we are able to recognize some of the places at least. Sansa might be one of them which you might remember. We can also get our memory freshened by reliving the moments of magnificent views Aba Dablam and other mountains in the sideline. We will be able to drop back at a faster rate compared to our pace while going up. That is why we will be able to arrive at Pheriche to Namche Bazzar in just 5-6 hours of trekking.

We start this 7 hours trek with a rapid series of downward trial, the trail is very steep. After crossing the DudhKoshi and its remaining tributaries, the trial gets easy than before. Even though it is the same place that we walked before, it feels very different to us again. We re-experience the Sherpa villages, monasteries and pine and rhododendron forest too. After our arrival in Lukla, we recall the moments and experiences and have a social gathering too. Taking gifts for your loved ones and memorandum for yourself is possible from the nearby shops.

After the breakfast early in the morning, we leave from Lukla to Kathmandu. We arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, after a 35 minutes residing in a plane. We progress our way to a hotel then. After lunch, we will take you to different popular parts of the city too, if you are willing. We will also be hosting a celebration for your successful completion of the trek.

Your journey ends here in Nepal on a high note, saying goodbyes to all the places that you have visited and missing all those places and the moments that you have cherished. We will be saying goodbye to you and you will be saying goodbye to us. No matter how much we want to stay together, we have to be separated. So farewell friend.
