The next day, manaslu trek starts. We leave for Machhakhola and after that we trek gradually to Jagat. On the way, we will also spend some time in Tatopani, which is natural hot water spring. Our trekking(Manaslu Trek) moves forward as we go to Deng, Namrung and Samagoan. In Samagoan, we will have a rest day, when we will visit Pungyengompa which is a very famous monastery of the place. By this time, we will understand very much of the Sherpa culture and tradition. Then we will reach Samdo where we will have acclimatization day for our body too acclimatize in the surrounding. Manaslu trekking route will then take us forward to Dharamsala, Bimthang, Tilije and Tal going through scenic places and views of mountains. After Dharmashala, we will go on to pass Larkya la [5160m]. Our stay at the villages will also strengthen our knowledge on the Sherpa culture. After that we will arrive at Kathmandu via Syange.

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be welcomed officially in Kathmandu and in Nepal formally by a representative of Noble Treks Nepal. You will then be escorted to a hotel for Check In. As per your wishes you will either be taken to a short visit to the City of Temples or stay in the hotel. In the evening before dinner, you will meet with the guide of the tour and staffs. You can enjoy the excellent Nepali cuisine in an excellent Nepalese fashion afterwards.

After having breakfast, we will take you to some of the famous heritage sites in Kathmandu valley. We will take you to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Lalitpur Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swoyambhu and many more. These sites are all listed in the UNESCO world heritage sites. While you are doing all these, you will also be preparing for the trekking that starts from tomorrow.

Early in the morning, we head out for SotiKhola. Within 5-6 hours of drive, we reach Arughat, on the way of which, we can see beautiful rivers and typical Nepalese villages. Just before reaching Arughat, we will also travel through Gorkha, capital of Medieval Nepal. Upto here the road is paved, but afterwards the road is graveled only. After having lunch in Arughat, we will set out for SotiKhola. SotiKhola lies in BudhiGandaki valley, where there are settlements too. We spend our night here.

Today, the real trekking starts. The trial goes through a rough part of BudhiGandaki, ups and downs valong the way. Some parts of the trial is very narrow too; they suffer from landslide from time to time. We reach LapuBeshi first, which is a village where there are accommodation options available. However, we won’t stay here. We leave LapuBeshi to reach MachhaKhola. MachhaKhola is a beautiful village built on the slopes of a hill. Overnight stay in Machhakhola.

The trial starts narrow, however it offers the pleasant view of farm villages and fields. We eventually reach Tatopani, after crossing TharoKhola through a suspension bridge. Tatopaniis a hot spring, where the water gets heated underground naturally. Many pilgrims come here to wash off their “sins”. From here, we make our way to Yuru, through well paved staircases, cross a landslide and a ridge. We cross YaruKhola through a suspension bridge, climb more stairs to TharoBhangyang. From here, we climb over a ridge and trek along a river and climb towards a village in Jagat. Jagat is a relatively developed place, where people work mostly in the fields of tourism, education and even government offices. MCAP office is present here, so you have to present trekking permit and MCAP tickets.

The trial descends to a village in Salleri after progression from which we reach Paimo. After walking up the river you can see how vulnerable is Salleri to landslide too. We can also have a look of Mt. Sringeri-7,187m, on our way. We continue our trial, crossing a long suspension bridge in Philim. Philim is a large Gurung village, where you can see the typical Gurung culture and traditions too. Continuing our trekking, we will follow millet fields, and reach to a uninhabited gorge. We cross BudhiGandaki, trek along the west bank, then west, and then back again. After all the hard working, the trial finally improves, as we are on our way to Deng.

Deng to Namrung is a walking of 6-7 hours. We cross BudiGandaki river, Shiringi River and arrive at Ghap, where we will have our lunch. The trial ahead is through a forest, which includes Rhododendron and fir trees. We arrive at Namrung, where we spend the rest of the day. Namrung feels touristic, with lodges and campsites all around.

From Namrung, we first cross Lihi, a small village. From there, after crossing HinangKhola, we will reach the village of Sho. From there, we reach to Lho where there is large monastery, providing education to more than 150 students. It lies on a slope of a hill, on top of which, we can have the first and probably the best view of Mt. Manaslu. Manaslu is seen here at its best, with its “fishtail” twin peaks. From Lho, we reach to Shyala, from where, we reach Samagaon- our destined place for today.

Today, we will have rest and acclimatization and in the process we will also visit PungyenGompa- a famous monastery of the place. The trekking today will be of 6-7 hours. In the monastery we will get to learn more about Sherpa culture and traditions. After that, we will some back to Samagoan. We spend the rest of the day in Samagoan again.

Samdo is on the north upper part of BudhiGandaki from Samagaon. The trial climbs gradually towards Samdo, on the way of which are grassy grazing areas. From this trial, we can also see the range of Manaslu mountain, with Manaslu dominating the rest of the mountains. We then cross the Budhi Gandaki on a wooden bridge. Jus tbefore entering the village, we will be able to see the origin of Budhi Gandaki river- at the confluence of Larke Khola and the river coming from Samdo Glacier. Samdo is the last recognized human settlement in the area.

Samdo is a tiny, but eye-catching magnificent village on the lap of Samdo mountain and Samdo glacier. Today’s rest day will also help us in acclimatization, and at the same time, it gives our body a much needed rest. So, we will either rest all day, or take a hike towards one of the trade passes to Tibet, from where we can have a very good view of Mt. Manaslu.

The trail from Samdo crosses the Athahra Saya Khola and goes along the Larke Khola. Upon crossing two streams and witnessing the Larkya Glacier we go around the valley of the Salka Khola. We climb up again until we reach our destintion- Dharmashala. It is not actually a odge or anything like but s kind of shelter. It is also known as Larke Phedi. There’s a great variety of food made to a tourist taste. Today we spend our night at “Larkhe Rest House”; this is one of the best places to stay overnight. The height of Dharmashala is 4,4560m.

After a short walk, we reach ablation valley on the north side. Also we reach a tortoise lake, on which the mountains of the surrounding reflect to give a spectacular view of the natural scenery. We also walk through the moraines of the glacier, on the conclusion iof which there is a pass. Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kangguru and the huge Annapurna II can be viewed from the pass. When we have to walk for 9 hours, it surely will be a tiring day, but with all the experience that you get, it surely will be worth it. Bhimtang is a surprising spot located in an almost impossible place between Bhimtang glacier and the slopes of Larke Himal range

From Bimthang, we make our way towards Tilije. This day’s trekking is about 5-6 hours trek. The trial descends to DudhKhola and then we reach Gho Crossing. On the way we walk through Pine and Rhododendron forest. We pass across some of the cultivated fields and then climb over a ridge. From there, we are in short oiif village Gho. From there, we reach Tilije within a short time frame. We spend the rest of the day in the resort at Tilije.

We climb a small ridge, then over Dudh Khola, and then we reach Thonje village. From Thonje, wereach Dharapani from where we will have joined the main trial of Annapurna Circuit Trek. Then we pass Karte village, from where we descend to the Marsyangdi river and cross the suspension bridge. Then we climb away from the river to breach Tal village. During the high trekking season this part of the trail is packed with tourists, locals and mule convoys

Crossing the Chyame village, and MarsyandyKhola once again, we get to Marshyandi valley which we have already visited in the beginning. The trial then descends downwards, thereby taking us to Syange.

We start our journey with a journey from Syange to Kathmandu- the capital city of Nepal. The ride takes us through a beautiful scenic beauty in the way. The drive on the way to Kathmandu along the banks of the Marsyangdi and Trishuli rivers offers us with splendid views of green hills, mountains, farming terraces and villages on both sides of road. In Kathmandu, we take you to your hotel where you can prepare yourself for the next journey- your home country. Oh! And don’t forget to buy things around Kathmandu, for yourself and for your relatives.

Your adventurous journey comes to an end here. So you have to leave, but take with us lots of memories and joyous moments. If you ever decide to come to Nepal again, we will surely be in touch.

Thank you.
